New Client Information

Are you looking for a friendly and experienced veterinarian in Raymore? Raymore Animal Clinic is committed to the highest quality veterinary care, delivered with compassion and skill. We would love to help you care for your furry friend!

During your pet's first visit, we will perform a complete wellness exam to evaluate your pet's health. This exam involves inspecting the eyes, ears, teeth, and gums, listening to the heart and lungs, and feeling the abdomen, joints, and muscles. We may recommend further services, including vaccines, lab work, and parasite testing, based on your pet's previous medical history. If applicable, please bring any medical records you have to your pet's first appointment.

Before your first visit, we ask that you fill out a new client form. You may fill out this information when you arrive to your pet's appointment, or you have the option to save some time by printing and completing the form at your convenience.

Please call us in advance to schedule your pet's visit. We look forward to meeting you and your pet soon!

 

Appointment Policy

Please call us to schedule your pet's appointment in advance. We operate by appointment to make sure our veterinarians have ample time to devote to all patients and surgical procedures. Please keep in mind that appointment delay may occur if we have an emergency case in the office, as emergency cases receive top priority.

 

Patient Arrival Policy

All dogs and cats must be secured on a leash or in a carrier while in the waiting area. Even the friendliest pet may feel anxious or fearful in an unfamiliar place, so we ask you to restrain your pet for your safety and the safety of others around you.

 

Drop-Off Appointments

For your convenience, we offer drop-off appointments for existing patients that are up to date on their vaccinations. A drop-off appointment allows you to bring in your pet in the morning so that our doctors can examine the patient in between appointments or at a time specifically reserved for that patient. Once your pet has been examined, your doctor will call you to discuss any issues found and diagnostic tests recommended and to set a hospital discharge time.

 

Payment Options

We require full payment when services are rendered. We accept payment in the form of Visa, MasterCard, CareCredit, cash, or personal checks.

 

Pet Insurance

Pet insurance has become a popular way for many families to afford health care for their pets. We are happy to provide you with copies of your pet's medical records for submission to your insurance company. If you need a copy of your pet's records, just talk to the receptionist at your next appointment or contact us for assistance. If you are considering purchasing pet insurance, we advise you to carefully research multiple insurance companies to determine which plan is best for you and your pet. We highly recommend Trupanion for many pet owners because of their competitive rates and broad range of benefits.

 

Emergency Procedures

We are able to give all emergency and urgent care cases top priority during our regular clinic hours. If you believe that your pet is in need of emergency services, do not hesitate to call or come in immediately. If possible, please call before coming in so that a member of our veterinary team can advise you on your emergency and our doctors can prepare to see your pet.
